Do you have trouble remembering your PIN?

One of the biggest credit card mistakes that you can make is to write your PIN on your credit card, or carry the PIN alongside your card in your purse or wallet. Even trying to disguise the number in your diary or on a scrap of paper will be discovered by a competent fraudster.

If your card is ever lost or stolen, having the PIN will enable a thief will be able to use your card at any ‘non signature’ card machine as well as using your credit card at an ATM to withdraw cash.

Always keep your credit card and PIN separate. If you have trouble remembering your PIN, change it to something more memorable.
